What is ERP? |
ERP is known as Enterprise Resource Planning.
Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems integrate internal and external management information across an entire organization, embracing finance/accounting, manufacturing, sales and service, customer relationship management, etc.
ERP systems automate this activity with an integrated software application. Their purpose is to facilitate the flow of information between all business functions inside the boundaries of the organization and manage the connections to outside stakeholders. |

What are KPIs? |
Key Performance Indicators are gauges that you use to check the effectiveness of business decisions.
KPIs measure the progress that a business is making toward its goals. |

How do you create a KPI? |
You create a KPI in the Cube Designer. For each KPI, you develop that calculate the KPI’s value, goal, current status, and trend. |

What is the Value Expression? |
The Value Expression represents where the business is today and is sometimes referred to as an actual when comparing it to a goal. |

What is the Goal Expression? |
The Goal expression defines the business goal, such as a constant value or perhaps a 20 percent increase in sales from the previous year. |

What is the Status Expression? |
The Status expression measures how the Value compares to the Goal. Typically, you associate a visual icon, such as a stoplight or a gauge, to the status value to express whether the result is positive or negative. |
