I was searching for some discussions on human computer interaction design and any time l open my Google chome browser, an arrow pops up and run to the left to point to a “you” that is in the corner of my browser. I clicked on this “you” and arrived at the landing page of the new social networking site, Google plus. This project has been used as a teaser for sometime now but l think it’s finally here. I set up my profile and explore the site and I must confess, this project is going to be very awesome. It comes almost complete with the new world of technology. There is one particular thing l like about Google, they like to actually keep things simple and cool. They have it banging and I think within a year or two, this site is going to be one of the biggest site to exist. This project is integrated with Gmail, Google chrome browser services and it’s linked to all Google services making life far beyond simple. Talk about chatting, downloading your info, chatting with extra people outside just your friends cycle, web cam, sharing your desktop with other users, games, etc. The project is in beta mode but it’s packed with a lot of cool stuff. The difference with this site is the real world of sharing and the virtual reality where users of the site will eventually feel they are absorbed in a new world all together. You can feel the presence as if you are in a virtual world with others but the environment lured you to feel like you are in real life hanging out with people. If this is not going to be one of the best social sites ever to be produced, then I must say my project under construction will be. What I even like about the whole plus deal is how your entire browser feels like is a social site anytime you are browsing because once you are connected with Google +, you carry the social site with you and it goes with you anywhere you can and you can just share it with people whenever you like. There is just too much to say about this project so l’m gona stop here and wait for anyone to tell their first experience with Google plus. But I have a huge question, can Google plus overtake Facebook and Twitter? I’m loving technology so bad lol. The url to google plus is plus.google.com
